Load data apiMAX

When you want to transfer data from Excel to apiMAX save the source of data (excel file) in the same folder where the apiMAX model resides. In this case, save the file apiMAXDilutionData.xls in the Examples project, where the Dilution.mxm file is located.

To transferr data from Excel to apiMAX

Start apiMAX. Open the Dilution model from Examples project.
Start Excel. Open the apiMAXDilutionData.xls.
Enter a value in Excel for the Total flow property.

Double click on the Pulp_Stream of the dilution equipment to open the Properties dialog.
Write in the value field of Total Flow the formula: [apiMaxDilutionData.xls]Sheet1:B2

The general form of the formula is: [<filename.xls>]<Sheet name>:<cell name>.
Press Update. The value is loaded from Excel and it is displayed on the Total Flow sensor.
